JOB OVERVIEW:


Responsible for assisting the Director of Restaurant Operations in the management of all aspects of the Restaurant functions, in accordance with Hotel standards.?

SUPERVISES:?????????? Restaurant Servers, Host(ess), Bus Person, Runner, Bartender


WORK ENVIRONMENT:Restaurant, Kitchen/Stewarding areas

QUALIFICATIONS


?


Essential:



  1. At least 2?year(s) experience in a high end restaurant

  2. Food handling certificate.

  3. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.

  4. Compute basic arithmetic.

  5. Ability to perform various functions outlined below:



  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

  • Prioritize and organize.

  • Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.

  • Follow directions thoroughly.

  • Understand guests service needs.

  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

  • Work with minimal supervision.

Desirable:



  1. High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.

  2. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.

  3. Fluency in a foreign language.

  4. Certification in CPR.

  5. Certification in alcohol awareness program.

  6. Previous guest relations training.

  7. Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry in a similar position.
