This will be achieved through the consistent application of BA methods and tools whilst maintaining and encouraging compliance with any pertinent standards or international guidance to ensure that the project provides full traceability from concept to delivery. Identification and analysis of a Business Need or Problem, which may often by conceptual at initiation and development of one or more Alternative Business Solutions by collecting, analyzing, designing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements Documenting and presenting in a clear and unambiguous style Statement of the Business Need or Problem Business Benefits or Goals of the Solution Business Rules - Business Relationships Business Definitions Business Process Issues and Risks Impacts (such as to related business policies, organizations, or processes, training, IT architecture) The Business Analyst is responsible for the translation of the Business Requirements into System Requirements, which describe what the system, process, or product and its involved actors must do to fulfill the business requirements. The Business Analyst must make the System Requirements understandable and acceptable to such involved groups as Business Unit Management IT Technologists providing the IT solution part of the system Operations and Support Specialists Communications Specialists Training Specialists QA and UAT Analysts The Business Analyst develops and presents artifacts describing the System Requirements including, as appropriate Presentations and Diagrams Process Flows Entity Relationship Diagrams (data models) Use Cases Other Requirements Documents as appropriate to document and communicate the System Requirements. The Business Analyst may also be responsible for tracing the requirements during implementation to ensure that the developed system is consistent and in scope with the determined system requirements Skills Experience in Accounting or Audit is highly preferred. Must have experience working with Agile methodology Must be able to gather and or revise requirements based on user storyboards then provide the detailed requirements to developers within a quick turnaround timeline. Works autonomously in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment Handles multiple tasks and can support multiple project needs simultaneously Acts quickly on issues and requests associated with business needs using the appropriate escalation path Exceptional written and oral communication skills Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to work well with mid-level managers and senior business leadership Evidence of 6-8 years professional experience focusing on business, process or systems analysis and requirements management in a complex regulated environment (finance, accounting, health, government, etc.) Strong quantitative and analytical skills Highly skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio SharePoint, Power Point Familiarity with defect tracking systems Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalent in computer science or related discipline Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates.
