Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is hiring an Archive Data Management (ADM) Analyst to support our Columbus, OH customer operations. Candidates typically work an 8-hour shift during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, but on occasion must have the flexibility to support weekends and after hours. Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will perform ADM Analyst duties per prescribed, documented processes and procedures to support data protection operations of critical customer information. These tasks include but are not limited to assisting customers via phone and email, working closely with other teams to achieve objectives, hosting meetings, leading special projects, acting as a point of escalation on issue resolution, and have overall responsibility on day to day support of assigned customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide customer assistance using all types of communication to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained Ensure all required procedures are being followed to comply with client requirements Make sure all supported accounts remain audit compliant at all times During audits assist by providing required information and answering any questions auditors may have Maintain and ensure tape inventory integrity Maintain vital records to include adding, updating, obsoleting, revalidating, testing, and packaging and shipping records Order supplies for your customer sites Escalate any documentation, process or procedure discrepancies and follow-up to management until resolved Be able and willing to learn new tasks/skills as required Must be able to communicate and understand verbal, written, and electronic instructions in English Act as a point of escalation for ADM Specialists Work closely with account teams and management to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain authorization lists and periodically revalidate them Help obtain site / customer access for new employees during the on-boarding process Participate in all required meetings Requirements: Previous experience with portable storage media and/or archive data management operations highly preferred Proven experience in Account Management duties Moderate computer skills, experience using Excel and Word is required Ability to use email, communicate effectively both verbally and written Ability to follow detailed processes/instructions is required Basic knowledge of computer hardware Perform system queries for information and provide interpretation and resolution as appropriate Recognize minor to moderate hardware malfunctions and be able to resolve most problems under direction/supervision of lead personnel Understand and utilize communication and work tools (phone, e-mail, turnover tools, fax, client training tools, other client specific work tools, etc.) Initiate detailed search for misfiled media when required Host and conduct meetings in a professional manner The ability to manage several projects concurrently Must be comfortable acting as an escalation point for issues and researching / providing direction on how to resolve them Perform additional tasks and/or duties as assigned by management High School diploma or equivalent Physical DemandsWhile performing these duties employees are regularly required to sit, talk or hear (in person and by phone), use hands to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment, and reach with hands and arms. Employees are frequently required to walk, stand and move about to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Must have ability to ascend and descend stairs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
