This includes planning, execution and managing the people, resources and scope of the program. Program Managers must have the discipline to create clear and attainable objectives and to ensure the cross functional teams deliver their program to target. Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Program Timing Create, maintain and ensure adherence to Program Timing plan that aligns to customer deliverables and expectations.Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings to ensure deliverables are completed on timeReport timing plan deliverable risks to internal and external management
  • Customer Interface Key customer interface and first point of escalation for program issues deliverablesMaintain and continue to develop strong relationships with customer counterparts Manage and present the Program Risk Assessment (PRA)Monitor, manage and report on customer satisfaction concerns where appropriate
  • Ongoing Product Development Programs (Running Production) Create, maintain and present the Program Status Report (PSR) Lead balance out process with CFT to minimize extraordinary expensesSupport Program Analyst with OPD Change Management meetingsManagement of all open action items to closureEnsure that the quality and warranty teams are driving corrective actions for immediate closure of all issuesSupport PM activities for achieving customer score cards targetsDevelop, track and maintain all program related data (change documentation/communication)Develop, track and maintain the Critical Path Timing as required for post J1 activities (i.e. added starters, mid-MY launch, etc.)
  • Shokikan (Prototype thru Launch) Manage/facilitate internal program status reviews (face-to-face meetings)Management of all Shokikan open action items to closureManage supply chain activities to minimize extraordinary expenses (including rate & flow delivery schedules for proto/pre-production build events)Drive all cross-functional teams to complete all launch readiness deliverables and tasks on time Lead manufacturing feasibility assessmentsDevelop, track and maintain the Critical Path Timing for CFT including program Gate Reviews
  • APQP Ensure that all APQP processes and deliverables are achievedTravel to manufacturing to lead detailed proto/pre-production readiness reviews
  • Customer Cost Management Support Customer Cost Reduction activities and targets
  • Financial Report Program P&L status and risk to targets in monthly PR (Program Reviews)Manage supply chain activities to minimize extraordinary expenses for program lifecycle (OPD and Shokikan)Work with cross-functional team to develop and implement cost reduction ideas per internal Profit Improvement targets
  • Program Team Management Provide ongoing feedback to cross-functional team members to strengthen overall team effectivenessManage overall team dynamics and remove or escalate any associated barriers that may be impacting the team
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or related fieldPrevious Experience:Minimum of 5 years applicable experience with 2-3 years of Program Management experience.
