The Associate Funder is responsible for determining and initiating loan specific documentation, communicating with prospective borrowers, reviewing loan and supporting documentation, coordinating, and interfacing with all required parties to coordinate and complete the closing process for C&I loans. Processing will include Real Estate loans. This position requires significant interface with closing counsel, borrowers and other participants throughout the closing process. The incumbent in this position will be able to work independently to achieve intended objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

* Process files according to Bank Policies. * Prepare a documentation needs list consisting of outstanding items needed in order to close the loan. * Gather and review information provided by the Borrower. * Order Entity Documents and follow up on entity good standing documents. * Order and review OFAC, UCC Searches, Mortgage Searches, Flood Certifications, EDR, Title (if applicable) and Appraisals for Real Estate loans. * Prepares and reviews CIP and ID Verification * Reviews Credit Approval and Commitment Letter, determines loan specific documentation, and initiates the collection of documents from prospective borrower. Conducts due diligence, review, and approval of supporting documentation. Ensures underwriting requirements, Bank policies and procedures have been met. * Prepare loan documents to be sent to the Borrower. * Reviews and determines that all documentation is complete and acceptable to the Bank; * Coordinates document closing with Borrower/Title company/Escrow/Closing attorney
* 1 to 3 years of loan funding experience * Franchise funding experience preferred
