Project Description:

Regional Aftersales Area Manager (AAM) Support Services:
  • We are looking for qualified resources to support Aftersales Area Managers (AAMs) with the aim of improving the Aftersales of dealers.
  • Scope of the AAM support will comprise of dealer analysis, potential analysis, dealer visit preparation, appropriate practice management and development of status presentations.
  • Project Objectives
  • The overall objective of the Regional AAM Support project is to improve dealers aftersales business performance.
  • The project can be broken down into three major steps.
  • Step 1- Regional Analysis

Key Questions
  • What is happening in the market?
  • How are dealers currently performing
  • Where are the biggest potentials?

High-Level Activities
  • Gather Aftersales dealer data from reports
  • Analyze performance data
  • Evaluate and document potentials for the regional aftersales business

Goals
  • Deeper understanding of current regional aftersales performance
  • Better clarity on potentials in regional aftersales business
  • Buy-in with Aftersales Area Managers

Step 2 AAM Support Operations

Key Question
  • How can the AAMs be best supported in their Dealer Mentor role?

High-Level Activities
  • Data gathering and analysis
  • Support AAMs during Dealer Mentoring
  • Critical review of dealer action plans
  • Backoffice support
  • Execution of project management activities
  • Support best practice management
  • Responsible for project continues improvement
  • Responsible for interaction and creation of synergy with other projects

Goals
  • Continuous improvements of aftersales business performance of regional dealers


Step 3 Transition

Key Questions
  • How can the ongoing support be transitioned from the vendors AAM support to the regional business analysts?

High-Level Activities
  • Develop transition plan
  • Execute transition plan
  • Monitor transition plan

Goals
  • A clear plan for the transition of responsibility from AAM support to regional business analysts
  • Execution and monitoring of developed plan.


Deliverables / Scope of Work

4.1. Services.

Resources will provide the following Services to assist with the project (the Services ).
  • Execution of data gathering and analysis (e.g. Potential analysis, KPI development etc.) to create insights for AAMs.
  • Support of AAMs during Dealer Mentoring (Analysis, action plan review, presentation and meeting preparation).
  • Execution of Backoffice activities: Dealer Ranking, Communication, Status presentations etc.
  • Execution of Project management activities: Prepare visit scheduling, flights, expenses, etc.
  • Support of AAM in best practice management, incl. collection, quality assurance, sharing, communication, etc.
  • Continuous project improvement: development of new tools, implementation of lessons learned, enhancement of methodology.
  • Identification of synergies with other projects/topics (eg.: ASM, CCRC, Teleservices etc.)
