KPMG is currentlyseeking an Executive Director - Risk Management - Policy and EnterpriseRisk, to join our Risk Management organization.


Reporting directly tothe National Partner in Charge Risk Management Policy and Enterprise Risk (NPIC-PER),and in collaboration with teams across the firm:

  • Develop and oversee theeventual day-to-day operation of a broadly applicable policy governance modelfor Risk Management
  • Develop and implementRisk Management policy, including in response to regulatory and KPMGInternational requirements
  • Benchmark KPMG scurrent Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process against the COSOFramework, assist in the development of risk appetite statements, andfacilitate ERM process improvements
  • Assist in the buildoutof the firm s Five Lines of Responsibility operational risk management model,including developing clear role and responsibility statements for thethird-fifth lines and for assisting in the transformation of various firmbusiness processes to a Five Lines of Responsibility Model
  • Assist the NPIC-PER inprojects as needed to optimize risk management processes, including determiningthe feasibility of and building a road map for the development of a riskquantification model
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of fifteen yearsof enterprise risk management, or related work experience; professionalservices firm experience preferred
  • Bachelor s degree froman accredited college or university; MBA or JD, from an accredited collegeor university is preferred
  • Must have anauthoritative command of policy development and implementation, Enterprise RiskManagement (including the COSO framework), and the five/three lines ofresponsibility risk management model
  • Able to balance multipleprojects and serve in multiple roles; impeccable judgment, the higheststandards of integrity, and be capable of exercising discretion and makingdecisions of high complexity and impact
  • Strong writing skillsand high proficiency for clearly and succinctly explaining complex subjects,building consensus and ability to understand and proactively address theperspectives of others; be an effective leader of teams that include seniorleaders, and able to set, direct and achieve priorities through inspiringothers; ability to think strategically, with a focus on tactical implementationand feasibility and a process mindset
  • COSO ERM Certificate ispreferred
