Department NEUROSCIENCE ADMINISTRATION (IN-NSCC-IUINA) Job Summary This position will assist the Neuroscience Administration Finance Office by processing financial transactions related to university finance operations as well as IU Health support of the academic mission. The incumbent will provide financial data to support a wide variety of recurring and ad hoc financial reports. This position communicates with and provides assistant to outside customers, faculty, staff and leadership. Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Process financial transactions related to university finance operations as well as IU Health support of the academic mission including travel, procurement, patient payments, IU Foundation, payroll and HR documents. Create and route documents in the Kuali Financial System (KFS), Chrome River and ETA Web systems as directed by the financial office management team. Adhere to all Departmental, University, IU Foundation and IU Health financial policies and procedures. Investigate and resolve financial issues utilizing available systems and resources. Assist the financial office management team in providing financial data to support a wide variety of recurring and ad hoc financial reports as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to problem solve. Ability to pay attention to detail. Ability to comprehend detailed financial reports. Strong organizational skills and prioritization of workload. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with preparation of spreadsheets and databases.
