The Senior Process Improvement Professional analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the business by providing data, information, and critical analysis for optimal decision making and execution in regard to all aspects and functions of Patient Appointing Services (PAS) - Puget Sound. This includes identifying data sources, preparing and analyzing data, developing reports and charts to display information, and identifying options or making recommendations accordingly. Interfaces with Humana Military business segments, PAS Puget Sound eMSM and DHA on data operations, use of the Government approved systems, contingency operations, and other programs.
? Function as data consultant and liaison between Program Manager, PAS Puget Sound eMSM and Humana Military, including processing operational data requests from Humana Military business leaders, enhanced MultiService Markets (eMSMs) and Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). ? Identify and report issues and request process changes through collaboration with DHA Global Service Center, MHS HER solution host, Puget Sound eMSM and market POCS to provided government systems with regards to reporting and statistical data requirements. ? Develop and maintain statistical reports and control charts of Humana Military management systems and PAS Puget Sound contract standards and metrics in accordance with established procedures. ? Plan, conduct, and report contingency exercises and operations in compliance with contract requirements. ? Develop, Maintain and implement process improvements to workflows and process maps required for generating and maintaining reporting functionalities to support required metrics and standards of the Humana Military and the PAS Puget Sound contract. Required Qualifications
? Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. Citizenship ? Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing) ? Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or medical discipline ? Minimum of three years of experience in a managed care environment ? Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products ? Skilled in quantitative data analysis tools and techniques (i.e. Excel, Access, SAS, SQL ? Proven ability to establish and maintain strong professional, collaborative relationships ? Keen verbal and written communication skills ? Masterful problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications
? Graduate degree in Business, Health Care, Health Care Administration, or other related field ? Experience with TRICARE contracts and/or the military health care delivery system ? Excellent negotiation skills Scheduled Weekly Hours
